Product Overview

Vacuum Aluminium Coating Machine

AA vacuum metalizing machine (also called a vacuum metallization system) is a coating device that deposits a thin, uniform metallic layer onto a substrate through physical vapor deposition (PVD), most commonly thermal evaporation. The process occurs inside a sealed vacuum chamber where metal, usually aluminum, is heated until it vaporizes and condenses onto the target surface.

Inside the 2200 × 3600 mm stainless-steel chamber, aluminium wire is thermally evaporated under vacuum and condenses as a uniform metallic film on the racked substrates. The 440 V three-phase system runs automatically with front-door loading, producing the mirror finishes used on cosmetic caps, auto reflectors, decorative trims and metalized films.

Finish

Mirror-Bright Aluminium

Thermal evaporation lays down an even aluminium film that turns plastic parts into chrome-look components.

  • Uniform thin-film deposition
  • Mirror and matte finishes
  • Excellent adhesion
  • Lacquer top-coat compatible

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the machine work?
It is a PVD system — aluminium is thermally evaporated under vacuum and condenses as a thin, uniform metallic layer on substrates racked inside the stainless-steel chamber.
What parts can be coated?
Plastic caps and closures, auto reflectors, decorative trims, toys, glass and metalized films — anything that fits the racking inside the 2200 × 3600 mm chamber.
What utilities does it need?
A 440 V three-phase supply; the process runs at 110–200 °C under vacuum with automatic control.
Is a top coat needed?
A base and top lacquer are typically applied around metalizing for adhesion and scratch resistance — we can advise on the full coating process.
