Thermometer PCB

Digital thermometers are temperature-sensing instruments that are easily portable, have permanent probes, and a convenient digital display. The way a digital thermometer works depends upon its type of sensor. Sensor types include resistance temperature detector (RTD), thermocouple and thermistor.

Our module uses a precision thermistor sensor wired to a compact 5.35 mm-thick PCB driving a 21.5 × 7.5 mm LCD, powered by a single 1.5 V LR41 button cell. It reads 32–42 °C with ±0.1 °C (±0.2 °F) accuracy in about 60 seconds orally, sounds a fever alarm beeper, and weighs just 10.5 g — ready to assemble into an ABS body with steel probe tip.
